Workshops organized for the fourth time by the Polish Carbon Society, this time exceptionally will be held at the headquarters of our Supporting Member, i.e. at Tokai Cobex Polska sp. z o.o. in Nowy Sącz and will be combined with a tour of the Plant. The date of the planned event is June 23, 2023. So far, three meetings in this series have been held: one in 2018 at the Wrocław University of Technology, the second in 2019 at the Poznań University of Technology and the third in 2022 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, in one of the most important academic centers in Poland, where research is being conducted on carbon. The workshops are addressed to young scientists and PhD students. Participation in the workshop is an opportunity to broaden knowledge about the latest trends in carbon research, and this time it will also be a unique opportunity to take a closer look at the plant, which is a leading producer of carbon and graphite materials in the world. The formula of the workshop is to encourage young participants to participate in in-depth discussions on the presented issues concerning broadly understood issues related to coal.
