The workshops organized for the third time by the Polish Coal Society took place on June 24, 2022 at the AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisław Staszic in Krakow, at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, at the Department of Biomaterials and Composites. So far, two meetings in this series have been held: one in 2018 at the Wroclaw University of Technology and in 2019 at the Poznań University of Technology, in one of the most important academic centers in Poland where scientific research on carbon is conducted. The workshops were addressed to young scientists and PhD students. Participation in the workshops was an opportunity to expand knowledge about the latest trends in carbon research. The formula of the workshop was to encourage young participants to participate in in-depth discussions on the presented issues. During the Workshop, 16 papers were presented.
